The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed Tuesday, March 24, for screening aspirants for national offices in Abuja, ahead of its March 27 National Convention, according to a notice issued on Sunday by the party’s Screening Committee Secretary, Alhaji Isa Yuguda, who directed all qualified aspirants to appear in person at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel with relevant documents for verification.
Screening Date and Venue
The APC will conduct the screening on March 24. The exercise will take place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
Furthermore, the party expects all aspirants to arrive early. Early arrival will ensure a smooth verification process.
Requirement for Aspirants
Alhaji Isa Yuguda stated clear conditions for participation. Aspirants must have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
In addition, each aspirant must appear in person. They must also bring all relevant supporting documents.
Committee’s Directive
Yuguda emphasized strict compliance with the guidelines. He urged aspirants to follow all instructions carefully.
Moreover, he noted that proper documentation will speed up the screening process.
Background to the Convention
The screening comes ahead of the APC National Convention scheduled for March 27.
