The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied reports about a 2027 nomination form price list, stating on Saturday that the claim is false, did not come from the party, affects party members and the public, and lacks any official basis or approval.
Report on 2027 Forms Is Completely False
The APC described the circulating report as fake and misleading. According to the party, no official statement supports the alleged price list.
Furthermore, the party stressed that it has not fixed prices for any expression of interest or nomination forms. Therefore, any document claiming otherwise should be ignored.
No Decision Yet on 2027 Election Forms
The party clarified that it has not made any decision regarding the sale of forms for the 2027 General Elections. In addition, no committee or organ has announced such pricing.
As a result, the APC urged stakeholders to rely only on verified party communications.
APC Urges Public to Disregard Fake Report
The APC called on members, media organisations, and the general public to dismiss the report entirely. Moreover, it warned against spreading unverified political information.
The party also emphasized the need for accurate reporting, especially on sensitive electoral matters.
Commitment to Transparency
The APC reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and due process. When the time comes, it will officially communicate all decisions regarding the 2027 elections.
Until then, the party advised everyone to remain cautious and verify information before sharing.
