Commander Yilchini Jan Bida, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared his intention to challenge Governor Caleb Mutfwang in a future governorship election in Plateau State. Speaking in Jos, Bida said he would defeat the incumbent if the election is conducted freely and fairly. He based his confidence on what he described as growing support across the state and argued that a transparent electoral process would determine the outcome of the contest.
