The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) has opened its 2026 recruitment exercise for qualified Nigerians seeking full-time jobs across several cadres. The agency announced the vacancies on July 28, 2026, and applicants can apply online through the official recruitment portal. The recruitment covers veterinary doctors, lawyers, graduates, diploma holders, and secondary school leavers.
NAQS Recruitment 2026: Available Positions
The Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service is recruiting candidates into three major cadres.
1. Superintendent Cadre
Chief Superintendent of Quarantine (CSQ) – CONMESS 2
Applicants must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from a recognised institution.
They must also have an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Deputy Superintendent of Quarantine I (DSQ I) – CONRAISS 08
Applicants must hold a first degree in Law from a recognised institution.
Alternatively, applicants may possess an MSc in another field.
Candidates must also present an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
Assistant Superintendent of Quarantine II (ASQ II) – CONRAISS 07
Applicants must possess a first degree from a recognised higher institution.
Candidates must also have an NYSC discharge certificate.
2. Inspectorate Cadre
Inspector of Quarantine I–III – CONRAISS 05
The agency is also recruiting for general-duty positions.
Applicants must hold an OND, ND or NCE certificate from a recognised institution.
3. Assistant Cadre
Quarantine Assistant I–II – CONRAISS 04
Applicants must possess SSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level qualifications.
Candidates need at least five credits in not more than two sittings.
The credits must include English Language and Mathematics.
