Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the Adegbodu Twins, died on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Nigeria, according to a statement posted on the group’s official Facebook page managed by their team, although the cause of his death has not been disclosed.

Family Announces Taiwo Adegbodu Death

The Adegbodu Twins’ team shared the news through their verified Facebook page. The post confirmed Taiwo’s passing and expressed deep sorrow over the loss.

Family members described his death as sudden and painful. They said the loss remains difficult to bear. However, they did not reveal further details.

As of press time, the cause of death remains unknown.

Esther Igbekele Pays Tribute

Fellow gospel musician Esther Igbekele also confirmed the Taiwo Adegbodu death. She shared his photo on Instagram and wrote a heartfelt tribute in Yoruba.
