The Ekiti State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council has announced that its grand finale mega rally will hold on Tuesday at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado Ekiti. The event will bring together Vice President Kashim Shettima, APC governors, party leaders, and thousands of supporters to endorse Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his running mate, Monisade Afuye, ahead of the June 20 governorship election. According to the council, the rally will demonstrate widespread support for Oyebanji’s second-term bid after an extensive statewide campaign.
APC Leaders and Supporters to Converge in Ado Ekiti
The Director of Media and Communication of the Campaign Council, Taiwo Olatunbosun, said the rally marks the climax of an extensive grassroots campaign.
He explained that the campaign reached every ward, community, and local government area across Ekiti State.
Olatunbosun said the Vice President, APC governors, ministers, members of the National Assembly, national party leaders, and supporters from within and outside the state would attend the event.
Rally to Reflect Broad Public Support
According to the campaign council, the rally will demonstrate the overwhelming support Governor Oyebanji enjoys across political and social groups.
The council noted that traditional rulers, professional associations, market leaders, artisans, youths, women, civil servants, retirees, religious leaders, and political stakeholders have endorsed the governor’s re-election.
It added that the endorsements reflect growing confidence in the governor’s leadership and development agenda.
Council Highlights Oyebanji’s Achievements
The campaign council said Governor Oyebanji has earned widespread recognition for delivering projects across key sectors.
These sectors include infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, security, tourism, youth empowerment, and economic development.
Furthermore, the council praised the governor’s inclusive leadership style, commitment to public welfare, and ability to unite people across political divides.
It stated that these qualities have strengthened public trust and encouraged citizens to support his second-term ambition.
Statewide Campaign Generated Positive Response
Olatunbosun said residents consistently expressed appreciation for the governor’s humility, accessibility, and responsiveness during campaign visits.
He added that many communities welcomed the campaign team and acknowledged the administration’s efforts to deliver democratic dividends.
According to the council, the positive reception across the state demonstrates the confidence Ekiti people have in the governor’s leadership.
Rally to Reinforce APC’s Confidence
The campaign council described the event as one of the largest political gatherings in Ekiti State’s history.
It said the expected attendance of senior APC leaders highlights the strategic importance of Ekiti to the party.
The council also maintained that the rally would reinforce the party’s confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s popularity and leadership capacity.

The campaign council assured participants that adequate security and logistics arrangements have been made.
