The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the presidential election and secure a second term for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Kyari made the remarks while congratulating Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and other party leaders following the successful flag-off of the APC presidential campaign in Kaduna State.
Kyari Congratulates Tinubu, Shettima and APC Leaders
Senator Kyari congratulated President Tinubu, Vice President Shettima, the APC National Chairman, and the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
He also extended his congratulations to members and supporters of the ruling party across the country.
According to Kyari, the successful campaign flag-off reflects the party’s preparations for the forthcoming electoral contest.
APC Confident of Second-Term Victory
Kyari, who previously served as the party’s Acting National Chairman during the 2023 general elections, expressed strong confidence in the APC’s electoral prospects.
He said the party would secure victory and return President Tinubu to office for a second term.
Furthermore, the minister expressed confidence that the APC would win elective positions across the country, from the national level to grassroots offices.
Kyari Urges Nigerians to Support Tinubu’s Leadership
The agriculture minister also urged Nigerians to maintain their confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership.
He said the president was working to promote national unity and achieve sustained economic prosperity for citizens.
Kyari’s statement highlighted the APC’s expectations as the party continues its campaign activities and mobilises supporters nationwide.
However, the party’s electoral performance will ultimately depend on voters’ decisions at the polls.
