The Nigerian military’s Operation Hadin Kai neutralised 15 terrorists during an intelligence-led air strike north-west of Pulka in Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State, at about 11:50 p.m. on October 23, 2026. The operation followed credible intelligence and confirmed sightings of terrorist movements, as troops intensified efforts to combat insurgency across the North-East.

The Joint Task Force (North-East), under Operation Hadin Kai, carried out the precision air strike to target terrorist elements operating around Pulka.
According to the military, credible intelligence revealed suspicious movements in the area. Consequently, troops launched the air operation to disrupt the terrorists and weaken their operational capabilities.
The air strike reportedly neutralised 15 terrorists. Subsequently, ground troops moved into the area to exploit the outcome and consolidate the operation’s gains.
