ABUJA — President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election on Saturday, August 15, 2026, saying the victory reflects the confidence of Osun voters and urging the governor to unite the state for growth, stability and development.
Tinubu Congratulates Adeleke
President Tinubu conveyed his message through his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
The President said he called Governor Adeleke after the election to congratulate him.
According to Tinubu, Adeleke’s victory confirms the confidence Osun residents have placed in his leadership.
He also wished the governor success during his next four-year tenure.
President Calls for Unity in Osun
Tinubu urged Adeleke to unite residents across political divides.
He asked the governor to rally the people toward economic and social progress.
The President stressed that Adeleke should serve all residents, regardless of their political choices.
He also called for greater stability and development across the state.
