Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has congratulated two senior officers, Bello Shehu and Dankombo Morris Fallings, on their promotion to Assistant Inspectors General of Police in the Nigeria Police Force. The governor announced the commendation in Gombe State while praising their years of service, professionalism and contributions to national security.
Governor Praises Officers’ Dedication to Service
Governor Yahaya described the promotion as a proud moment for Gombe State. He said the achievement reflects years of discipline, commitment and professionalism in policing.
According to him, the elevation honours their strong record in protecting lives and property across Nigeria.
He also described the officers as shining examples of excellence, discipline and patriotic service.
Outstanding Records in Katsina and Adamawa
The governor highlighted the impressive leadership records of the two officers during their time as Commissioners of Police.
Bello Shehu earned recognition for strong operational leadership while serving in Katsina State.
Similarly, Dankombo Morris Fallings received praise for strategic command and firm leadership in Adamawa State.
Their performances, the governor noted, strengthened security and improved public confidence in policing.
Promotion Inspires Youths in Gombe
Governor Yahaya said the achievements of the two officers will inspire young people in Gombe State.
