ABUJA, Nigeria — The Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev, FNSE, on Tuesday presented the key achievements of his ministry during a federal government review session in Abuja. The event brought together cabinet members and presidential aides to assess progress recorded under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration over the past three years. Following the presentation, Utsev exchanged greetings with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, other ministers, and presidential media advisers Bayo Onanuga and Daniel Bwala. The gathering highlighted the administration’s efforts in advancing national development through strategic sector reforms.
Water Resources Ministry Showcases Three-Year Achievements
During the review session, Prof. Utsev outlined major milestones achieved by the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation since President Tinubu assumed office.
He highlighted ongoing projects, policy reforms, and investments aimed at improving access to clean water and sanitation services across the country.
Furthermore, he emphasized the ministry’s commitment to supporting sustainable water management and enhancing public health outcomes.
Engagement with Top Government Officials
After his presentation, the minister interacted with senior government officials at the venue.
Among those present were Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, as well as several ministers and presidential aides.
Utsev also exchanged greetings with Special Advisers to the President on Media and Public Communications, Bayo Onanuga and Daniel Bwala.
Commitment to National Development
The event formed part of activities marking the third anniversary of President Tinubu’s administration.
It also provided an opportunity for ministries to showcase their contributions to national development.
Government officials used the platform to review achievements, identify challenges, and discuss strategies for accelerating service delivery.
