The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) will open its recruitment portal on October 28 and close it on November 13, 2026, for applicants seeking paramilitary jobs in Nigeria. The board’s Secretary, Major General Abdul Malik Jibril (retd.), announced the recruitment schedule in Abuja on Thursday, October 22, 2026.
CDCFIB Announces Recruitment Dates
Jibril disclosed the dates as the board prepares to receive applications for paramilitary recruitment. Therefore, interested candidates should prepare their applications ahead of the opening date.
The recruitment portal will remain open until November 13. Applicants should complete the required steps within the application period.
Mandatory Drug Test for Shortlisted Candidates
Meanwhile, Jibril directed candidates who had reached the oral stage of the recruitment process to check their recruitment status.
He also instructed them to undergo a mandatory drug test through the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
Candidates must take the test in their respective states or places of residence. However, the board clarified that the drug test will be free of charge.
What Applicants Should Know
Candidates should monitor official CDCFIB communication channels for further recruitment instructions. They should also verify their status and follow the board’s guidelines.
The recruitment exercise covers Nigeria’s civil defence, correctional, fire and immigration services. Consequently, applicants should rely on official announcements for accurate information about the process.
