Low Voter Turnout Marks Election
The by-election took place across polling units in Zuru Local Government Area.
The exercise followed the death of former Speaker Muhammad Usman Zuru, which created a vacancy in the State House of Assembly.
Although voter turnout remained low across most wards, the APC maintained a commanding lead throughout the collation process. The party eventually secured victory with a decisive margin.
